ANATHEMA: Turkish Show Cancelled
March 24, 2004ANATHEMA's previously announced gig in Istanbul, Turkey on April 11 has been cancelled. "The local promoter could not put on the show because of financial problems," the band write on their web site. "We apologize to Turkish fans, there was nothing we could do about it. We hope to play in Turkey before the end of the year."
ANATHEMA's seventh studio album, "A Natural Disaster", was released in the U.S. last month through KOCH Records/Music For Nations. The follow-up to 2001's "A Fine Day to Exit" was recorded and mixed at Parkgate Studios near Hastings, U.K. (except for two songs, which were mixed in Nottingham at Electric Mayhem) and was produced and engineered by Dan Turner.
